LGBTQ refer to Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender .Before late 19th century the concept of LGNTQ was even  not developed  there was no such thing as a distinct sexual identity

BRIEF HISTORY : According to the british sexologist Havelock Ellis clarified the difference between both words transgender and gays which refer as as “sexual inverts ” where he clearly define that as those who show same-gender attraction are considered as guys  and those   present themselves in a socially unacceptable way for their assigned sex.

He claimed that between men and women  there was a third gender where as Ulrichs defined male Urnings as “male-bodied” individuals with the souls of women, and female Urnings as “female-bodied” individuals with the souls of men.

Kertbeny  became widely accepted and The term “homophile” was chosen by homosexual activists in the middle of the 20th century over the term “homosexual” because it omitted the adjective “sexual” while still embracing same-gender desire.
