About the Institute

Maharaja Surajmal Institute (MSI) is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and was established in the year 1999. It is a self-financing, quality-conscious, and trend-setting institute with a focus on providing equal opportunities for the development of human potential for every segment of society including the differentiated one.

About the Conference

Criminology and forensics are highly relevant fields with important implications for society, law enforcement, and justice systems. The primary motive of any legal and criminology research is crime prevention. Criminology seeks to understand the causes of crime, allowing for the development of strategies and policies to prevent criminal activities and reduce their societal impact.

Both criminology and forensics contribute to enhancing the effectiveness and fairness of the criminal justice system by providing tools and knowledge for investigating, prosecuting, and adjudicating criminal cases.

This conference will serve as a platform to promote interdisciplinary research in the fields of law, criminology, and forensics. This will ultimately help in relevant knowledge creation for addressing the shortcomings of the current legal systems. It will enhance existing literature and cater to the practical deficiencies pervading law enforcement agencies and instrumentalities.

Eligibility

Any students studying in law school, faculty members, professionals, or research scholars are eligible to participate in the conference.
