- Section-wise research and tracking interpretation of specific provisions
- Judgment analysis: headnotes, catchwords, and subject classification

- Citation: neutral citation, parallel citations, and identifying authoritative judgments
Day 7: LiveLaw & Current Awareness Tools

- Tracking latest judgments and constitutional matters
- Verifying LiveLaw reports through authentic legal databases
Day 8: Professional Legal Research Application
- Research for bail matters, writ petitions, trial court matters, and appeals
- Preparing a structured research note for seniors
- Common research mistakes made by interns
Day 9: Academic Legal Research Methodology
- Doctrinal legal research explained
- Selecting a research topic: originality, relevance, and researchability
- Formulating research questions and hypothesis
- Identifying primary and secondary sources
Day 10: Citation, Footnoting & Academic Integrity
- Citation formats: SCC and basic Bluebook orientation
- Effective use of footnotes
- Avoiding plagiarism and maintaining academic integrity
