About the Internship
I. Handling Arbitration Matters And Conducting Legal Research
- Coordinate with outside counsel regarding pending arbitration cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research related to arbitration and dispute resolution.
II. Participant Follow-Up
- Conduct follow-up with participants and acquire relevant information from candidates.
- Maintain accurate records of communications and updates.
III. Policy Due Diligence
- Conduct due diligence on the policy framework to check for possible conflicts with existing laws.
- Ensure all company policies are compliant with current legal standards.
IV. Drafting And Liaison
- Draft and file petitions, and liaise with officials and other authorities.
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence as required.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of contracts and agreements.
- Provide general administrative support to the legal team.
- Participate in meetings and provide insights on legal matters.
- Eligibility Requirements:
- 5th-year law student or recent graduate seeking hands-on experience in commercial law, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
- Proficiency in handling MS Office, particularly Excel and Word documents.
- Strong knowledge of legal drafting and research.
- Availability for at least 3 months starting June 2024.
- Benefits:
- Stipend: ₹3,000 – ₹5,000 per month, based on performance.
- Offer Letter: Provided post probation period.
- Certificate of Internship: Awarded upon successful completion of the internship.
