About the Opportunity
Applications are invited for engagement of Law Researcher on a contractual basis in:
- DRT-I, Delhi
- DRT, Jaipur
under the jurisdiction of DRAT Delhi.
Nature of Engagement
- Contractual position (no right to permanent employment)
- Initial duration: 1 year (extendable up to 3 years)
Eligibility Criteria
- Law Graduate (LL.B – 3-year or 5-year course) with minimum 55% marks
- Degree must be from a recognized university
- Candidate must be enrolled with the Bar Council of India
- Knowledge of computer applications is required
Age Limit
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years (as on last date of application)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Reading case files and preparing case summaries
- Assisting in identifying legal issues and arguments
- Conducting legal research from case laws, books, and articles
- Assisting the Hon’ble Chairperson in judicial work
- Attending court proceedings and taking notes
- Preparing briefs and summaries of cases
- Assisting in academic papers and speeches
Terms & Conditions
- Full-time assignment (no other employment or legal practice allowed)
- Strict confidentiality must be maintained
- Must maintain punctuality and professional conduct
- Cannot appear before DRAT Delhi for 3 years after completion
Remuneration
💰 ₹60,000 per month (fixed honorarium)
Leave Policy
- 12 days paid leave per year (maximum 3 days per month)
