About the Job Opportunity
Job Responsibilities:
- Reviewing Proposals / ITB’s, preparing contract deviations and managing negotiations for new opportunities (which includes reviewing Contract terms and conditions, pricing/payment schedules, scope of work, project procedures and execution schedules on lump sum, unit rate and reimbursable contract models) for projects
- Advising, reviewing and negotiating project related MOU, Consortium, Joint Venture and Shareholder Agreements.
- Advising on Projects in varying jurisdictions, working with, and understanding foreign governing/applicable law, including facilitating, understanding and applying specialized legal advice from such jurisdictions.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents, clauses, notices, agreements
- Advising on and review of Parent Company Guarantees and project finance documentation.
- Supporting preparation, negotiations and implementation of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders.
- Assisting/advising in preparation of Change Orders, Extensions of Time and Claims raised by Clients, Vendors, Subcontractors and LTHE.
- Reviewing and negotiating Secrecy Agreements and Interoffice Agreements.
- Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal provisions, legal principles, case laws
- Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing systems
- Ensuring project contracts are consistent with the LTHE project objectives and LTHE policies whilst avoiding onerous liabilities.
- Assisting in handling arbitrations and litigations,
- Liaising with external lawyers and business team.
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
- Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility
- Maintain current knowledge for changes in legislations, precedents laid down by the courts and overall legal environment.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Qualification: LLB; LLM preferred.
Experience: 2-6 years
