About the Job Opportunity
This is a full-time role for an Associate at Varman Legal, located in Chandigarh. The Associate will be responsible for handling day-to-day legal tasks which include drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing case briefs, and representing clients in court. Additional duties include maintaining client relationships, providing legal advice, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The associate may have to travel to Delhi, Jaipur, Hyderabad, as per the requirements of the client.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Legal Research and Analytical Skills
- Drafting and Document Preparation
- Client Relationship Management and Communication Skills and negotiation skills
- Advocacy and Representation in Court
- Strong understanding of local and national legal regulations pertaining to the procedures followed in High Courts and Tribunals
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Professional degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Prior experience of 3 to 5 years in a legal firm or similar setting is a plus (specifically Criminal, Rera or litigation pertaining to Banks
