Our client, a leading conglomerate is looking to hire a junior-mid level legal professional in their team in Mumbai who for their IPR team.
Role and Responsibilities
Intellectual Property Management
- Manage intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and designs
- Handle filing, prosecution, opposition, maintenance, and renewal of IP rights across jurisdictions
- Address counterfeit actions and enforcement proceedings globally
- Advise on brand clearance, promotional materials, and domain name disputes
Contracts & Legal Advisory
- Draft and negotiate intellectual property and commercial contracts
- Provide legal guidance on packaging, legal metrology, consumer protection laws, and ASCI-related issues
Database & Compliance Management
- Maintain the intellectual property database and oversee expense management
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of IP and consumer protection laws
- Expertise in contract drafting and negotiation
- Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and multitasking ability
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
