About the Job Opportunity
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Associate / Contract Reviewer to join our legal team. You’ll play a key role in reviewing, redlining, and negotiating a broad range of contracts—including construction subcontractor agreements, client contracts, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and more. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of contract law, sharp communication skills, and a proactive approach to minimizing legal and business risks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse legal terms and business provisions to ensure compliance with policies, laws, and best practices.
- Redline contracts using clear and consistent legal language to mitigate risk and align with company goals.
- Negotiate terms and conditions directly with vendors, clients, or external counsel.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders—legal, finance, procurement, and operations—to gather input and ensure alignment.
- Maintain templates and help improve contract processes, clause libraries, and negotiation playbooks.
- Track contract status, manage follow-ups, and ensure timely execution and archival.
- Support risk assessments and escalate high-risk issues to leadership as needed.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; J.D. preferred (but not mandatory depending on experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in contract review, negotiation, or a legal support role.
- Strong grasp of commercial contract terms and the redlining process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
