About the Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Executive / Assistant Manager – Legal to join our high-performing legal team. You will work closely with and report to the VP–Legal, providing critical support on a wide range of legal, regulatory, and transactional matters. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing fintech company, advising on emerging technology issues and contributing to strategic initiatives across jurisdictions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts and technology agreements in India, the US, and the UAE.
- Manage the complete contract lifecycle to ensure clarity, efficiency, and robust protection of Signzy’s interests.
- Support product and business teams by advising on regulatory and compliance requirements for new features and products.
- Provide legal guidance on the permissible use cases of Signzy’s products in line with applicable financial sector regulations.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to ensure compliance with evolving data protection laws, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- Drive and manage regulatory license applications and ensure compliance with ongoing regulatory obligations.
- Oversee and coordinate the management of Signzy’s patent portfolio in India and the US, working closely with external IP counsel.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- LL.B. degree from a reputed law school or university.
- 0–2 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate legal, technology, fintech, or regulatory environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial transactions, fintech/technology laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
