Role description
We are seeking an Associate with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment law, workplace rights, or gender justice and be eager to combine legal expertise with training, consulting, and community-building in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advisory support to clients on compliance with the PoSH Act, including policy drafting, documentation, and case management
- Act as a resource person for Internal Committees (ICs), assisting with enquiries, documentation, and ensuring adherence to natural justice principles
- Draft and review policies, contracts, and workplace guidelines to ensure compliance with labour and anti-harassment laws
- Design and facilitate PoSH, DEI, and gender sensitisation training programmes for employees and leadership teams
- Conduct research and prepare case summaries, legal opinions, reports, and presentations on workplace rights, DEI, and womenβs inclusion
- Assist in designing and implementing DEI audits, assessments, and surveys for clients, and analyse workplace data to provide recommendations
- β Support delivery of CSR and DEI projects, including client strategy, proposals, and business development pitches
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as NGOs, government bodies, and legal counsels where required
- Contribute to SheSRβs thought leadership through articles, white papers, social media, webinars, and panel discussions
- Mentor interns and junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables
- Represent SheSR at client meetings, industry forums, and conferences to strengthen visibility and credibility

Key Requirements
- β β Law graduate with a minimum of 3 years PQE (experience in employment law, workplace rights, or human rights law preferred)
- β Prior exposure to the PoSH Act and workplace investigations
- Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills (English essential; additional Indian languages a plus)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple client mandates and timelines
- Demonstrated commitment to gender justice, DEI, or workplace transformation
