About the Opportunity

National Law University Odisha is inviting application for the post of Research Assistant on contract basis for a period of 01 (one) year for the Project titled: “Evaluation of Old Age Homes under the ‘Abadana’ Scheme: A Study in Odisha”.

Roles and Responsibilities

To implement the project under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigators by carrying out empirical and desk research
Planning of activities and coordination with enumerators/field investigators, district administration and others as directed by the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigators
Preparation of interview schedules, questionnaires, survey forms etc. as and when required under the project
Supervision of the enumerators, compilation of data collected by them, maintenance of all required files and timely submission of monthly reports
Research Assistant may be required to undertake local travel in the survey districts.
Preparation and Writing of the Research Project under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigators

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate in Social Science/Law or Social Work from any recognized university with 55% marks.
Proficiency in English and Odia.
Skilled in the usage of Computers.

Salary

The remuneration for the abovementioned post will be consolidated Rs.15,000/- per month. No extra
amount will be given towards Travel Allowance, if any.
