About the Job Opportunity
This is a full-time on-site role for a Member in the Technology Law Practice based in Mumbai. The role involves providing strategic legal advice on technology-related matters, conducting in-depth research on emerging technology laws, and staying updated with regulatory changes. Day-to-day tasks include drafting legal opinions, preparing compliance documents, and advising clients on technology-related legal issues. Collaboration with other practice areas and participation in the firm’s research initiatives are also key responsibilities.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Technology Law, including matters relating to Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, and Virtual Reality.
- Strong Research and Analytical skills, especially in emerging technology regulations.
- Excellent Communication, both written and verbal.
- Experience in drafting Legal Documents and Compliance Reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a non-hierarchical and democratic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) is required; a Master’s degree (LL.M) or specialization in Technology Law is a plus.
- Familiarity with the legal landscape in India and international jurisdictions is beneficial.
- Proactive and adaptable with a keen interest in emerging technologies and their legal implications.
