Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Associate role based in Bengaluru. The Junior Associate will assist senior attorneys with legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for trials, hearings, and case filings. Day-to-day responsibilities will also include client consultations, preparing case summaries, and collaborating with colleagues on various legal tasks within areas such as litigation, corporate law, and regulatory compliance. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively are essential to this role.
Qualifications
Legal research and analysis skills, with a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
Proficiency in drafting contracts, pleadings, legal opinions, and other legal documents
Knowledge of court procedures, litigation processes, and regulatory compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment
A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, with enrollment in or completion of relevant legal certifications
Prior internship or work experience in a law firm or legal setting is advantageous
