Role description
We are seeking a qualified advocate to join our Legal & Compliance team as the Legal Associate & Executive Assistant to the Director – Legal & Compliance. This is a dual-capacity role that combines legal expertise with executive support, requiring strong analytical skills, legal drafting experience, and organizational capability. The candidate will act as the Director’s right hand, ensuring effective legal management and smooth coordination of strategic and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Legal & Compliance Support
- Assist in reviewing, drafting, and vetting agreements, contracts, MoUs, and legal documents relating to real estate projects, joint ventures, leases, and vendor contracts.
- Conduct legal research on property law, RERA, land acquisition, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Maintain and update compliance trackers across statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities for ongoing litigations, notices, and due diligence.
- Prepare legal notes, case summaries, and briefing papers for the Director’s decision-making.
Executive Assistance to Director
- Provide high-level executive support including calendar management, meeting coordination, and correspondence handling.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and board papers on legal and compliance matters.
- Track ongoing legal cases, compliance matters, and regulatory changes, ensuring timely escalation and closure.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Projects, HR) for legal and compliance inputs.
- Manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Requirements
Educational Qualification: LL.B. from a reputed institution; enrollment with Bar Council of India is mandatory.
Strong understanding of real estate laws, RERA, contracts, corporate governance, and compliance processes.
Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with compliance management tools is a plus.
