About the Job Opportunity
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior Legal Counsel, India who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Bangalore, India.
Job Responsibilities:
- Taking conduct of significant Indian based legal matters.
- Interfacing with senior management of Indian Hitachi Rail entity.
- Interpreting, negotiating and closing out complex deals for the Rail Sector Business Unit in India.
- Interpreting and guiding senior management in relation to regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Taking conduct of significant arbitrations and litigations.
- Interacting with the compliance function.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Law Degree from a reputable University
- PQE of 7-10 years
- Preferably with experience at an international industrial company
- Knowledge and experience gained in rail, oil & gas, power, aero, or the automotive industry sectors would be highly beneficial
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and communication ability to work in a culturally diverse organization and with multiple key stakeholders.
