Role Description
The Patent Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The responsibilities include drafting and preparing patent applications, conducting patentability assessments, and performing in-depth patent searches. The role also involves applying patent law for clients, managing intellectual property rights, and ensuring compliance with patent-related regulations. The Patent Agent will collaborate closely with the legal team to deliver tailored IP solutions to clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or scientific field is preferred
Expertise in Patent Preparation and drafting patent applications
Proficiency in conducting Patentability assessments and Patent Searching
In-depth knowledge of Patent Law and experience in managing Patent Applications
Strong research and analytical skills for intellectual property review
Ability to communicate technical and legal concepts effectively
Registered Patent Agent qualification is a plus
