EY is hiring for the position of Associate Analyst – Conflicts Management as part of its Risk Management Services. The role focuses on identifying and addressing potential conflicts of interest associated with new and existing engagements while ensuring compliance with EY’s internal policies, regulatory requirements, professional ethics, and independence standards.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Associate Analyst – Conflicts Management role based in Gurugram. The selected candidate will support conflict-check processes, evaluate potential conflicts, analyse engagement-related entities, and assist client-serving teams in managing associated risks.
The role requires professionals who can work in a quick-turnaround, complex environment, apply logical reasoning, maintain confidentiality, and make timely decisions.

1–2 years of experience in the same domain or a related profile. Experience in a compliance environment is preferred but not mandatory.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of EY Global and local conflict policies and apply them to real situations.
- Perform initial reviews of conflict-check submissions from EY client-serving teams.
- Identify relevant entities related to engagements and perform analysis.
- Review findings to identify potential conflicts.
- Prepare appropriate conflict safeguards for client-serving teams.
- Ensure prompt escalation whenever required.
- Support seniors in developing training materials and sharing leading practices.
- Understand the firm structure, business strategies, and service lines.
- Deliver individual and team targets while maintaining quality and timely completion.
- Support the monitoring and strengthening of compliance frameworks.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess:
- Post-graduate degree from a reputed institute.
- 1–2 years of experience in the same domain or a related profile.
- Preferably an International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management or similar qualification.
- Exposure to handling international customers/client interactions is preferred.
- Good analytical skills and a logical mindset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft 365, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Presentation skills, including public speaking and PowerPoint presentation creation.
