We are Cognyte, the global leader in security analytics software, and we are looking for an exceptional and passionate Legal Counsel to join our legal team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and other contracts
- Providing legal guidance and assistance, as required by the business
- Being a part of the legal compliance team – conducting and managing KYC and due diligence processes to third parties.
- Keeping up to date with legislative and other changes and advising the business as appropriate
- Handling various tasks assigned to you
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer and a member of the local bar association.
- At least 3 years’ experience working at a large/medium size law firm or in-house, preferably at a High Tech company
- Experience in practicing law in the compliance domain.
- Experience in export, trade or anti-bribery and corruption compliance – an advantage
- Ability to draft, negotiate and close contracts
- Ability to work in a multi stakeholder global organization, team player
- Business-oriented with a good sense of risk management
- Proven independent learning skills and ability to gain expertise in new domains
- Self-driven and highly motivated to contribute to the success of the company
- English at mother tongue level
