Job Title: Legal Consultant
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Consultant with approximately 1 year of professional experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and legal procedures, and be able to support various internal and external legal matters effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.
Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, NDAs, MoUs, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for internal use.
Assist in ensuring organizational compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Support dispute resolution, arbitration, or litigation processes when required.
Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Finance, Sales, etc.) to provide legal inputs.
Maintain and update legal databases and documentation.
Liaise with external counsels and regulatory authorities, if needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
Enrollment with a Bar Council (if applicable).
Minimum 1 year of relevant legal work experience (law firm or in-house).
Strong drafting and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and/or regulatory frameworks.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and legal research tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to [Corporate Law / IP Law / Employment Law / M&A / Compliance] – customize based on your requirement.
Experience using contract lifecycle management tools is a plus.
