About the Job Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal with a background in law (UG/PG in Law) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and abstracting critical information from lease agreements and other legal documents. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Abstract key information from Lease Agreements into specific templates (Excel or Word)
- Extract critical data from Lease Documents with accuracy
- Analyze lease data and financial information, including CAM (Common Area Maintenance), Taxes, Insurance, and other Expense Recoveries
- Calculate rental charges such as base rent, pass-through operating expenses, taxes, and insurance
- Collaborate effectively in a global team environment while also working independently
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: UG/PG in Law
- Should have minimum 2+ years of experience in Lease abstraction.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in analyzing and interpreting leases for different property types
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to the process
- Ability to prepare documentation and procedures such as SOPs and Process Maps when required
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new projects, and manage pressure effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is essential
- Candidate preferably from Chennai
