Founded by Dushyant Dubey (St. Broseph), The Broseph Foundation is a social services organization that helps everyone with everything.
Our focus areas include civic issues, mental health issues, legal awareness, women empowerment, RTI & Advocacy, human rights, labor and employment issues, vocational training and youth affairs.
The organization is currently working in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai and has over 15000 volunteers and 400+ coordinators. Role description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Criminal Lawyer based in Bengaluru. The Criminal Lawyer will be responsible for representing victims in court, conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and providing counsel on legal matters. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with victims, visiting police stations for FIRs, attending court hearings, obtaining case updates, sending legal notices, and collaborating with other members of the legal team. The role also involves staying updated on new regulations and laws relevant to criminal law.
Qualifications
- Experience in representing clients in court and conducting legal research
- Strong skills in legal document preparation and providing legal counsel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to stay informed about changes in laws and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or related field
- Membership in the Bar Council of Karnataka
