Role Description:

We are seeking a proactive, client-facing litigation associate (5+ years PQE) who can independently manage matters across criminal, family disputes, mining & regulatory matters and who thrives on courtroom practice, drafting and direct client engagement.

Practice Areas:

Civil, Criminal and Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC) matters.

Eligibility & Requirements:

Roles & Responsibilities:

Independently manage day-to-day conduct of litigation matters across civil, commercial, criminal, family and mining/regulatory disputes.

Draft pleadings, written statements, appeals, affidavits, applications (including interim reliefs), legal opinions and complex submissions.

Appear and argue matters before District Courts, Sessions Courts, special tribunals, and the Karnataka High Court and represent clients in hearings.

Take ownership of client communication: briefing clients, drafting client updates, attending client calls/meetings, and preparing senior counsel for hearings.

Conduct substantive legal research, statutory interpretation and precedent analysis; prepare research memoranda and advisory notes.

Supervise and mentor juniors; review their draft work and delegate tasks effectively.

Manage filings, court processes, briefs and deadlines; coordinate with external counsels when required. Support alternate dispute resolution (arbitration, mediation) processes where applicable.
