About the Opportunity
This role is part of Citi’s legal team supporting product and capital markets businesses. It involves advising on legal, regulatory, and transactional matters while working closely with business teams across the Asia-Pacific region.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice on financial products and transactions
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documentation
- Advising on regulatory compliance and risk management
- Supporting business teams on legal and commercial issues
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsel
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments impacting the business
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. / equivalent law degree from a recognized institution
- 3–4 years of relevant legal experience (preferably in financial services)
- Strong understanding of banking and financial regulations
- Experience in commercial contracts and legal advisory
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills
