Role Summary
- Position: Junior Advocate – Litigation
- Nature of Role: Full-time
- Location: Mumbai
- Experience: Minimum 1 year (Sanad is mandatory)
- Practice Areas: Civil, Commercial, and Writ Litigation Practice
- Remuneration: Will be discussed during the interview
- Minimum Commitment: 1.5 years (mandatory)
- Joining: April 2026
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- In-depth understanding of the Civil Procedure Code, Civil Laws, and relevant allied laws
- Drafting and vetting of legal documents including:
- Notices, Complaints, Applications, Written Statements
- Evidence Affidavits, Replies, Rejoinders
- Writ Petitions, Appeals, and miscellaneous pleadings
- Assisting in strategizing litigation for complex civil & commercial matters
- Regular appearances before:
- High Court
- City Civil & District Courts
- Co-operative Courts
- Preparing case briefs, research notes, and assisting seniors during hearings
- Coordinating with clients for instructions, updates, and documentation
- Managing case files, court filings, e-filing, and maintaining records
- Ensuring timely compliance with court deadlines, filings, and procedural requirements
Educational Qualification
- LL.B from a recognised university
- Minimum of 1-year post-qualification litigation experience
- Valid Sanad is mandatory
Skills Required
- Strong legal drafting abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage complex and interrelated tasks
