About the Opportunity
Sagar Chandra & Associates is inviting applications for an Associate role in its IP team. This position offers exposure to both transactional and litigation aspects of intellectual property law, making it ideal for professionals looking to build expertise in IP strategy and enforcement.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IP-related agreements (assignment deeds, licensing agreements, coexistence agreements, NDAs, etc.)
- Managing end-to-end IP transactions including due diligence, structuring, and execution
- Liaising with internal teams and associates for trademark, copyright, and design litigation matters
- Managing IP portfolios and advising on enforcement and protection strategies
- Advising on IP compliance, internal policies, and risk mitigation
Eligibility Criteria
- 4–6 years of post-qualification experience in IP law
- Experience in both transactional and litigation aspects of IP
- Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage matters independently and coordinate with stakeholders
