Role Overview
The Associate will support the Corporate Commercial & Transactions Team in:
- Advisory matters
- Transactional work
- Drafting and negotiation assignments
- Client coordination and transaction execution
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating:
- Service agreements
- Vendor contracts
- NDAs
- Supply agreements
- Assisting in:
- M&A transactions
- Private Equity transactions
- Due diligence exercises
- Transaction documentation
- Conducting legal research
- Preparing:
- Legal notes
- Opinions
- Client advisories
- Supporting senior members in transaction structuring and deal management
- Coordinating with clients and internal teams
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the role should possess:
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university
- Enrollment with the Bar Council of India
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in:
- Law firms; or
- In-house legal teams
Preferred Skills
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Commercial awareness
- Attention to detail
Preference May Be Given To
- Candidates having LL.M. in relevant subjects
- Candidates currently based in Chennai

- End-to-end transactional workflows
- M&A transactions
- PE/VC investments
- Joint ventures
- Advising clients on:
- Corporate law
- Regulatory compliance
- Transaction structuring
- Managing client relationships
- Supervising and mentoring associates
- Coordinating with:
- Regulators
- External advisors
- Counterparties
Eligibility Criteria
