Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates may be responsible for:
- Conducting Trademark searches and preparing legal opinions
- Filing and prosecution of Trademark applications
- Preparing, maintaining, and updating client Trademark portfolios
- Handling client queries relating to IP practices in India
- Drafting:
- Legal opinions
- Notices of Opposition
- Counter Statements
- Rejoinders
- Affidavits
- Legal notices
- Handling:
- Oppositions
- Cancellations
- Rectifications
- Attending show cause hearings before the Trademark Registry
- Managing IP filings, prosecution, and renewals
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the role should possess:
- LL.B. degree (3-year or 5-year course); or
- LL.M. degree
Experience Requirement
- 1–5 years of relevant PQE in Trademark/IP practice
Preferred Skills
Candidates should possess:
- Strong drafting and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
- Organizational and portfolio management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
