Internship Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Compliance Intern to support our internal compliance and risk management initiatives. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates in Commerce, Business Administration, or Company Secretaryship, who want hands-on exposure to compliance operations in a global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and updating internal compliance checklists across departments.
- Support in reviewing company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
- Conduct regulatory research related to data privacy, IT governance, anti-bribery, and labor laws.
- Help manage compliance documentation and assist in preparing audit-ready reports.
- Track and log incidents, conflicts of interest, and any potential non-compliance flags.
- Assist in conducting training sessions or awareness campaigns for employees on compliance topics.
- Collaborate with legal, HR, and finance teams to ensure alignment on compliance protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion while handling sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- Final-year student or recent graduate in B.Com, BBA, BA in Corporate Secretaryship.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- High level of integrity, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior knowledge of compliance topics like GDPR, SOX, ISO standards, or whistleblower policies is a plus.
