About the Internship Opportunity
The Legal Intern will support the legal team in daily activities, including legal research, drafting documents, and assisting with case preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for a law student to gain practical, hands-on experience in a dynamic legal environment.
Intern Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings on a wide range of topics.
- Draft and edit contracts, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
- Assist with case file organization, document review, and due diligence.
- Attend and take notes during meetings, hearings, or depositions (as applicable).
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the organization.
- Help maintain and update legal databases and filing systems.
- Perform administrative tasks in support of the legal department as needed.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Current enrolment in an accredited law school (1L, 2L, or 3L preferred).
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
