About the Conference

The Conference on Climate Change, scheduled for 1st & 2nd June, 2024, at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, aims to address the pressing issue of climate change.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has highlighted the significant increase in greenhouse gas concentrations in the earth’s atmosphere over the past century, primarily due to human activity.

Developed nations, having contributed substantially to this problem, bear a greater responsibility for taking swift action to mitigate further damage.Recognizing the urgent need for action, the conference advocates for an integrated approach involving multiple stakeholders to educate present and future generations about climate change.

Eligibility Criteria

Academicians, legal practitioners, research scholars, professionals, policymakers, and students are invited to submit papers relevant to the conference theme and sub-themes.

Location

The conference shall take place in hybrid mode. The offline sessions shall take place at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad.
