- Basically it provides antitrust authorities with specialized venues for maintaining regular contacts and addressing practical competition concerns.

- The ICN is the only global body that works for competition law and its enforcement and members of the same represent national and multinational competition authorities.
- The Competition Commission of India (CCI) was established in 2009 by the Ministry of corporate affairs and it’s a statutory body that enforces the competition act, 2002.
- The competition act, 2002 was amended by the competition (Amendment) act, 2007 , follows the philosophy of modern competition laws.
