About the Speaker
Ms. Threcy Lawrence is a young lawyer exploring her interest in the field of Litigation and Arbitration. She has worked on complex arbitrations, insolvency matters and white-collar crimes, and assisted in matters before the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court. She obtained her B.A.LL.B (Hons) degree from National Law University Delhi where she graduated with 2 gold medals, including the best female student of the year.
She is a recipient of the Lithuanian State-scholarship to study at Mykolas Romeris University where she completed modules on International Law, including Dispute Settlement in PIL. Threcy was a member of the team that reached octa finals at the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot and ranked third globally. She was also an oralist at the 26th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration, Vienna. Further, she has mentored several teams from her alma mater, including the contingent that reached semi-finals at the 28th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration, Vienna.
She actively publishes in different forums including the Cambridge International Law Journal Blog and is a founding editor of the blog, Investment and Commercial Arbitration Review.
