
In a sexual harassment case over wrestling federation chairmen Brij Bhushan Singh Co accused Vinod Tomar (former assistant secretary) was also granted interim bail.
Who has been accused by six women wrestler of sexual harassment, assault and stalking. In April seven wrestlers including a minor had filed sexual harassment and criminal intimidation against Singh.
Relying on Supreme Court Judgment magistrate Harjeet Singh Jaspal the accused can be granted bail until the bail application is decided.
Rajiv Mohan, council for the accused argued that he was chargesheted without arrest for offenses punishable for less than seven years. On July 7th he was summoned by the court after the filing of 1500 pages charge sheet by Delhi police.
Public Proscutor argued against the bail and said th accused can influence the case and a parallel media trail could start in the case.
Finally, Delhi High Court granted the bail to both Mr. Singh and Co-accused Mr. Tomar
