About the Job
We are looking for a Contracts Negotiator and Ethical Compliance Specialist who will play a critical role in ensuring ethical business practices, legal compliance, and effective contract management within our organization. This position involves ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, managing investigations, and fostering a culture of integrity.
Roles & Responsibilities
Contract Management:
- Individually support and perform contract management activities for Legal and Business Teams, Compliance Professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Manage contract processes for various agreements (e.g., CDAs, consultancy agreements, vendor agreements, MSAs) in direct collaboration with global legal teams.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents (commercial, clinical, etc.) in alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Utilize internal tools and follow established processes to ensure compliance operations.
Legal Research and Projects:
- Assist with legal research and special projects as needed.
Ethical Compliance
- Support third-party intermediary due diligence process.
- Analyze data related to gifts, entertainment, and other compliance areas.
- Measure policy adherence and identify errors or violations through auditing and monitoring.
- Provide training sessions and materials to raise compliance awareness among employees.
- Conduct investigations related to ethical concerns, policy violations, and potential misconduct.
- Participate actively in program development including policy enforcement, training, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and enhance the organizations ethics and compliance program.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract negotiation
- Familiarity with global legal and regulatory environment.
- Experience in a global company preferred
- Strong written and oral communication as well as negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in legal drafting and contract review.
- Knowledge of compliance processes and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate in global company with matrixed reporting
- Interest in the field of ethics and compliance
- Collaborative team player with a positive demeanor
