About the Organizers
National Law University, Tripura is established by Act No. 3 of 2022 of the State of Tripura. It is the 25th National Law University of the Country and located in the smart and green capital city of Agartala. The foundation of the University was laid by Her Excellency Smt. Draupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India. The Chief Justice of the High Court of Tripura is the Chancellor of the University.
About Centre for Women and Child Rights
The Centre for Women and Child Rights at National Law University Tripura is a dedicated initiative committed to advancing and safeguarding the rights of women and children through interdisciplinary research, advocacy, and community engagement.
Established with the vision of creating a positive impact on society, the center serves as a hub for critical discussions, legal research, and outreach programs focusing on gender equality and child rights. The Centre administers programmes directed towards equal justice for women and children, and facilitate the active discourse and deliberation in the field of women and child rights.
Objectives
The primary objective of the conference is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and perspectives on promoting gender equity through a lens of inclusivity. We intend to invite participants who are working at the international and national level, legislators, civil society organizations, academicians, practitioners, researchers, activists and policymakers to deliberate and discuss the prerequisites to strengthen the society and to address the constrains and barriers of women to grow in a healthy environment.

Procedure for Submission of Abstracts
An Abstract (of about 250 words) should be sent as an attachment in a word file. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed before they are accepted. The following information, in the given format, should be sent along with the Abstract:

Guidelines for Paper Submission
- The title of the paper should be followed by Name of the Author, Designation, Name of the Organization/ University/Institution and Email address. It is mandatory to mention Email address, as all future correspondence will be through it.
- Name and details of Co-author, if any.
- The paper should be typed in MS WORD format.
- The paper must be in single column lay out with margins justified on both sides.
- The heading and sub-heading should be in font size 12 bold and Times New Roman, left aligned.
- The main text should be in font size 12 Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing and justified.
- The length of the paper should not exceed 6,000-8000 words (including footnotes). Exceeding the word limit may lead to rejection of paper.
- Citation Format should conform to the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.
- Submission of the abstract should accompany with a covering letter with the name(s) of the author(s) and address, designation, institution/affiliation, the title of the manuscript and contact information (email, phone). All submissions must contain an abstract of not more than 250 words with 5 Minimum Keywords.
- All the contributions should be the original work of the contributors and should not have been submitted for consideration in any other Publication. Any plagiarized work will be out- rightly rejected.
- All the contributors should provide a declaration form regarding the originality of the paper.
- The contributions presented to and accepted for publication and the copyrights therein shall be the Intellectual Property of National Law University, Tripura.

Rules for the Presentation
- No abstract or full paper shall be accepted after the last date of submission respectively;
- Participants/Paper Presenters have to register after the acceptance of the abstract with payment of required fees;
- For participation, registration is mandatory for confirmation of the participation; Only registered participants will be allowed to take part in Conference;
- All the registered participants will be provided with a participation certificate;
- Technical sessions will be both in physical mode and online mode (Google Meet)
