About the Hackathon

Climate change in India is intensifying health challenges, ranging from heatwaves that increase heat-related illnesses to changing climate patterns that expand the reach of vector-borne diseases like malaria and dengue. India’s unique and diverse climatic regions, coupled with a vast population, make these issues particularly urgent. With healthcare systems under strain, there is a need for adaptive solutions that can manage unpredictable climate-driven health impacts.

GCESCJ invites students and innovators nationwide to participate in a one-of-a-kind hackathon exploring digital health solutions to combat climate change-induced health issues in India. This hackathon provides a platform for creative minds to devise strategies that leverage digital health technologies to address the climate and health crisis, aiming to create sustainable impacts and foster resilience across communities.
