About the Opportunity
National Law University Delhi is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor (Contractual) for teaching Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses at its campus in Dwarka, New Delhi.
The University seeks to engage qualified candidates with strong academic credentials, research experience, and publications in reputed international journals.
Positions Available

The remuneration shall be subject to TDS deduction @10% under the Income Tax Act.
Appointment Details
- Initial appointment period: 6 months
- Extension possible based on:
- Satisfactory performance
- Availability of funds
- No additional benefits or perks shall be provided.
Eligibility & Profile
The University encourages applications from candidates having:
- Exceptional academic qualifications from reputed law schools in India or abroad
- Strong research credentials
- Published research papers in reputed international journals
- Demonstrated academic and professional excellence
Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on evaluation of their applications.
- Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection or interview.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
Important Guidelines
- Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions before the last date of application.
- Applications without prescribed fees or supporting documents may be rejected.
- The University reserves the right to:
- Withdraw the advertisement
- Increase or decrease the number of posts
- Withhold appointments at any stage
- No TA/DA shall be paid for attending interviews.
- These are contractual and self-financed positions and shall not confer any right to regularization.
