Allahabad HC Slams Adipurush Makers And Censor Board For Controversial Dialogues

People are debating Om Raut’s Adipurush and accusing the filmmakers of hurting people’s feelings. The Allahabad High Court’s Lucknow bench recently took a harsh stance against the censor board and the producers amid the dispute.

Adipurush, the film starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, has seen extensive trolling and outrage online. The movie, which was premiered in theatres on June 16, is based on the mythical epic Ramayan. The film’s dialogue was changed by the creators in response to criticism, which infuriated the crowd.

The Allahabad High Court’s Lucknow bench took a harsh stance against the censor board and the film’s creators in the midst of the issue. The court questioned the censor board at a hearing on a request for certain disputed passages in the historical play, “What is it that the censor board continues doing? What do you hope to impart to next generations?

The producer, director, and other parties’ absence from the hearing was also questioned by the court. Petitioner Kuldeep Tiwari is an attorney. Today, June 27, is the day of the case’s subsequent hearing.

Many reviewers and critics expressed concern over specific phrases in the movie. ‘Marega bete’, ‘Bua ka bagicha hain kya’, and ‘Jalegi tere baap ki’ were a few that had incited resentment among the supporters. The creators later revised the conversations in response to internet criticism and backlash.
