About the Organizer
School of Law, Christ University (SLCU), Bangalore, is a part of Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, a premier educational institution. It is an academic fraternity dedicated to the motto, “Excellence and Service”, providing a nurturing ground for an individual’s holistic development to contribute to society in a dynamic environment effectively.
SLCU has a vision to become a globally recognized center for excellence in legal education with a mission to create and proactively generate in-depth legal knowledge in the student community. To promote interaction between students and legal professionals, seminars, guest lectures, and workshops are conducted on various subjects of law at regular intervals.
The Corporate Law Committee, SLCU, strives to create unparalleled opportunities for future legal professionals in the corporate world. The goal is to impart a well-rounded understanding of Corporate Law and its associated areas through a variety of engaging activities.
About the Workshop
The workshop will be conducted on February 14, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 3 PM in Offline Mode.
About the Competition
The competition will be held in Online Mode. The link for registration will be open till February 10, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
This event is open to students currently enrolled in a 3-year LL.B or 5-year LL.B Course.

Prizes
- Winner: Rs. 5000
- Runner Up: Rs. 3500
- 2nd Runner Up: Rs. 2000
The top 3 entries will also get internship opportunities with NDA at the firm’s discretion.
Submission Guidelines
- Participants are encouraged to use modern contract drafting techniques that focus on the use of plain English and avoid the use of unnecessary legalese.
- Formatting: Font style – Times New Roman, font size – 12, line spacing – 1.5, justified alignment, 1-inch margin on all sides. Any Clarifications should be asked by sending an email to corporatelawcomittee@law.christuniversity.in
How to Register?
Interested candidates can fill out the registration form attached at the end of the post.
Registration Fee
- Attend the workshop only: Rs. 500
- Participate in the competition only: Rs. 700
- Attend both the workshop and the competition: Rs. 900
- Please refer to the brochure attached at the end of this post for more details on the fees for a team of 2 participating in both the workshop and competition.
Please note that the participants will not be provided with any accommodation services as well as transport services by the Organizing Committee.
