Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), New Law College, Pune’s Moot Court Society is delighted to announce the forthcoming 13th edition of the Justice P.N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition on Human Rights, scheduled from 20.03.2025 – 22.03.2025.

About the University:

Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), established in 1964 by the visionary Dr. Patangrao Kadam, is renowned for its commitment to social transformation through dynamic education. About the College:

Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), New Law College, Pune founded in 1978, holds an “A++” accreditation from NAAC and is recognized nationally and internationally for its excellence in legal education. The college was inaugurated in the year 1978 at the hands of Hon’ble J. Y.V. Chandrachud, the then Chief Justice of India. The foundation stone of the College has been laid by Hon’ble J. R.C. About the Competition:

The Justice P.N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition on Human Rights pays tribute to the vision of (Late) Justice P.N. Bhagwati, former Chief Justice of India. Since its inception in 2011, the competition has gained global recognition, providing students with opportunities to delve into the complexities of International Human Rights Law and enhance their advocacy skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

The Competition has a cap of 32 Teams and is open for students enrolled bona-fide on a regular basis in an Undergraduate Law Course or its equivalent conducted by any recognized College/ Institution/ University.

How to Register:

Registration Fees:

The registration fee is INR 6,000/- per Team for Indian Teams. All other Teams shall pay the sum amounting to INR 7000/- as registration fee.

Venue:

13th Justice P.N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition on Human Rights, 2025 shall be held in an offline mode at lushful premises of the prestigious Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Campus, Erandwane, Pune, Maharashtra – 411038 (INDIA) from March 20 to 22, 2025.

Accommodation, Food & Travel:

The registration fee covers both lodging and meals. Accommodation shall be available to all participating teams from 19.03.2025 – 23.03.2025­
